Uusvada Kultuuriküla osales Päästeameti projektikonkursil mittetulundusühingutele “Ole
valmis – kogukondade võimestamine kriisideks valmistumisel 2023″ ning esitas taotluse Uusvada kerksuskeskuse loomiseks ja kriisikoolituse ning kriisiplaani koostamiseks. Uusvada Kultuurikülale eraldati toetust 1575 eurot, millele lisandus omaosalus, vähemalt 10%.
Projekti peamine eesmärk on olla oma kogukonnaga valmis erinevateks kriisideks (ulatuslikumad elektrikatkestused), et parandada elanikkonna ohuteadlikkust ja võimet hädaolukordadega senisest paremini toime tulla, Uusvada külamajast on loodud piirkonna kerskuskeskus. Uusvada kogukonna kerskuskeskuses on võimalik tagada elektri olemasolu akude laadimiseks, uudiste kuulamiseks, samuti külamaja veesüsteemi ja küttesüsteemi käigushoidmiseks, et tagada külarahvale koht kus saab varju, sooja, vett ja elektrit.
Projekt kestis 2023.aasta maist septembrini.
Olulisema tegevusena hangiti külaseltsile kriisidega toimetuleku tehnilise võimekuse tõstmiseks elektrigeneraator Gudnorg GM-5400-E. Viisime 17.juunil 2023.a koos Päästeameti ennetusbüroo ennetuspartneriga läbi külarahva kriisikoolituse ja koostasime kohaliku kriisiplaani.
Projekti kogumaksumuseks kujunes 1844,65 eurot, millest 1575 eurot oli Päästeameti toetus.
